Getting a loan

When I tried getting a loan for my mortgage seven years ago, it was hard. I can only imagine what it is like now. But they say there is money out there to get the dream home you want.
You may want to try getting a loan from a credit union as these are the best rates, usually. Or you could try going through a mortgage broker, but keep in mind that these may cost you more as they borrow their money from several sources.
I personally suggest going to your hometown bank. They know you the best out of all of the brokers and should know your financial history. I found this to be the easiest way.
Whatever you decide, just know to play it smart and do not get in over your head. Know what you can afford and stick with that. Have a plan before you commit to anything and know your plan will work.
